Addispace at the Albi additive manufacturing conference
The conference on Additive Manufacturing by power bed fusion, organised by DAS AMP, was held on 7 March at the Ecole des Mines Albi Carmaux in Albi, France.
During the conference, several cases were explained in which this technology was applied in the aerospace sector. The Addispace project was also present with ESTIA, who presented the objectives of the project during the conference, as well as the advances developed. They took advantage of the presentation to give out a survey whose aim is to determine the requirements and needs of the aerospace sector for the production of components by means of MAM. This survey was carried out within the framework of the ADDISPACE (www.addispace.eu) project, financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDP) through the INTERREG SUDOE (www.interreg-sudoe.eu) programme.
